“It Is Not Going To Be Perfect” : Cooperating Teachers Role In Supporting Preservice Teachers Learn Discussion Facilitation

While cooperating teachers play a crucial role in preservice teachers’ learning, there is little research on their role in helping preservice teachers learn to facilitate discussion. In this research, I highlight 4 practices to support preservice teachers' discussion facilitation, as reported by eight social studies cooperating teachers.
