“This Is The Situation”: Speculations On Fugitive Pedagogy In Southern Public Education

We created a facsimile of Notes on Teaching in Mississippi for our local context. Our aim is to challenge regimes of state-sponsored censorship using the notion of fugitive pedagogy. We are seeking feedback on future phases of the project, including questions about ethics/methodology and tensions inherent in fugitivity-informed teacher education.
