Cultivating Belonging: Centering Latino Histories and Inclusive Practices In Nyc Classrooms

This project examines efforts to increase visibility of Latino histories and experiences in NYC curricula to foster belonging and relationality. It highlights community gardens as sites of cultural knowledge and collective care, and explores how inclusive, accessible practices—particularly for students with autism—can expand meaningful participation and shared belonging in schools.
