Teacher Well-Being Across Contexts: Counterstories of Justice-Oriented Social Studies Educators
This study examines how social studies educators of Color conceptualize justice-oriented teaching and sustain their well-being across sociopolitical contexts. Using critical multicase research and counterstorytelling, findings reveal relational, structural, and political dimensions of teaching and well-being, offering visions for more just, care-centered, and sustainable futures in social studies education.
