At The Crossroads of Conflict and Peace: U.S. Teachers Reimagining Teaching For Peace Through Dialogic and Experiential Learning In Northern Ireland
At the crossroads of conflict and peace, this case study follows four U.S. elementary teachers in a Northern Ireland international learning experience. Dialogic and experiential encounters prompted conceptual shifts from peacekeeping toward peacemaking and peacebuilding, as teachers grappled with contested histories, memory, and possibilities for reconciliation in their own classrooms.
