(whose) Rightful Presence In Social Studies Teacher Education? On Youth Participation In Methods Courses
Our study, situated in a Secondary Social Studies Methods II course at a public university in the United States, presents findings through Rightful Presence (RP) to argue that RP may provide an opportunity to push our current YPTE pedagogies further toward more democratic, participatory, and justice-oriented forms of teacher preparation.
