Neoliberalism and Educational Reforms: Social Studies Curriculum Development In Two Public Universities In Ghana (1980- 2000s)
This qualitative case study examines how neoliberal reforms transformed Social Studies curricula at two Ghanaian universities from 1980 to the 2000s. By integrating neoliberal and reconceptualist theories, the study explores tensions between market-driven skills and democratic civic goals, contributing to postcolonial scholarship on curriculum change in higher education.
