Yearbooks As Primary Sources: Examining The Power of Place Through The Legacy of Historically Black Schools In The United States

Using findings from our study of the closing of a Black high school together with selected digitized yearbook archives, this manuscript draft for grades 6-12 conceptualizes how to center yearbooks as primary sources when studying the history of Brown v. BOE through the lens of Black legacy and excellence.
