From Covid-19 To “Partisan Posturing:” Teachers’ Reported Differences Between Teaching The 2020 and 2024 Elections

This study builds from a panel survey of social studies teachers on teaching of the 2020 and 2024 US elections. We examine survey responses and interviews with a sub-sample to examine what teachers reported changing about teaching the 2024 election, what influenced these changes, and challenges they faced.
