Passing As ‘Science’: Portrayals and Projections of Social Identities With/in Museums
Viewed as “non-traditional” learning environments, museums utilize an interdisciplinary approach to teach history across generations. Using a multiple-method case study, this study explores how museum exhibits reinforce the status quo and (re)imagine museums as spaces that rewrite (his)story, disrupt systems of oppression and push for social change.
