Unearthing Geography In The Social Studies
Many contemporary challenges have at their core spatial and/or environmental injustices. Geographical perspectives in teacher preparation and the enacted social studies curriculum have never been more important. This symposium explores reasons why K-12 geography has been buried in recent times and opportunities to unearth the subject’s educational potential.
