Shared Commitments, Shared Concerns: A Poetic Transcription of Mothers’ and Teachers’ Perspectives On Teaching Difficult Topics In Early Childhood Classrooms
This study explores the perspectives of mothers and teachers on teaching “difficult” topics in preschool classrooms. We use poetic transcription and feminist theory to highlight the vulnerability and trust inherent in the relationship between mother and teacher, providing insight into the trust, commitment, and concern they bring to this topic.
