Finding Place In Public History

We explored how students used historical documents and local historians to discover stories of their town from the 1940s. Students explored histories as counter-narrative and walked through city streets, talked with historians, and visited the local archive where these stories took place. Student learning included cultural heritage, neighborhood, and family.
