Place, Space, and Race: Reinterpreting Geography and Community With Latine Teachers

Alongside a lens of LatCrit and Critical Geography (CG), this work seeks to understand how Latine induction-year social studies educators take on community-based pedagogies through local and marginalized knowledge. By focusing on Latine educators, we learn how Texas-based teachers interpret geography and welcome community in classrooms during contentious political times.
