Reinterpreting Civic Education Through Student-Powered Hosting and Transformative Hospitality

This study explores the implications of a pedagogical framework that reimagines what counts as civics education. Utilizing the Transformative Hospitality approach, youth assumed responsibility for offering, receiving, cultivating, and sustaining each other’s “beautiful learning” experiences through a framework that reorients the way civic education is taught and understood.
