Teaching Against The Current: Women of Color In Social Studies Teacher Education In The U.S. South
Through narrative inquiry, three women teacher educators of color examine dilemmas of teaching social studies education at a Predominantly White Institution (PWI) in U.S. South amid converging sociopolitical forces. We engage countercurrents that shape our work, inviting participants to understand both past and present to reach towards more just futures.
