Technoskepticism In Practice: Evaluating Generative Ai's Role In Teaching Black History Through Extended Primary Sources

This study investigates the use of GenAI lesson plans for teaching Black history through the Kerner Commission Report. Thematic analysis of thirty AI-generated lessons evaluated using King’s Black historical consciousness framework yielded findings indicating strengths in fostering engagement and Black futurism, alongside concerns regarding problematic pedagogies.
