Examining Eggshells: Centering Identity In Teacher Ideological Disclosure Scholarship

Teachers continue to face suspension and even termination for expressing their opinions on controversial issues. This systematic literature review explores studies focused on teachers disclosing their ideologies, through a framework focused on teacher identity. Findings indicate inconsistency among empirical research centering teacher identity in social studies teacher disclosure scholarship.
