What Counts As Action In Student-Led Civics Projects? –– Voice, Influence, Or Both

This two-year longitudinal qualitative study examines how teachers support students in articulating the action component of student-led civics projects across nine school districts representing diverse Massachusetts contexts. Drawing on the Voice–Influence Model, it examines teachers’ understandings of voice, influence, or both, as well as their pedagogic interventions for change.
