From Classroom To The Street: Empowering Young Voters With Local Community-Based Civics Curricula
This paper presents data from a larger study examining whether exposure to community-based civic education curricula in Detroit and Chicago shapes youth political socialization, with particular attention to local civic engagement and voter pre-registration among high school students. The proposal here focuses on the Chicago story.
