“I Was Afraid You’d Lost Your Way But You Found It Again”: The Art of Improvisational Teaching Through Preservice Teachers’ Experiences

This critical qualitative case study investigates the improvisation moments/methods used by preservice teachers during the teaching of counternarratives. Through tenets of AsianCrit and Figured Worlds, we found that improvisational moments appear more often when critical counternarratives are taught and the importance of reflection to transition improvisation to practice.
