This study examined a microcredential-based PD program, analyzing self-efficacy and instructional knowledge in civics, history, and media literacy. Findings show significant gains and highlight the value of practical frameworks, while underscoring teachers’ needs for more classroom-ready resources, particularly in areas of growing concern such as AI and teaching sensitive topics.
