Working For Real Kids Instead of Each Other: Preservice Teachers As Contributors In Social Studies Professional Learning
This study examines how structured, authentic curricular conversations between preservice teachers and inservice teachers create space to negotiate the relevance, implementation, and purposes of elementary social studies. Findings suggest such interactions could position preservice teachers as contributors while offering meaningful, practice-based professional learning for inservice teachers.
