“I Mean…it’s Terrifying.”: Social Studies Teachers Consider Teaching Nuclear War

A case study, this research project surfaces and centers the thinking and theorizing of in-service social studies teachers in the Southern United States on how they might teach about the history and possibility of nuclear war in middle and high school classrooms through a professional development experience.
